Panaad Sa Negros Festival 2023 – Schedule Of Activities
The Panaad sa Negros Festival, also known as the Mother of Festivals, is an annual event in Negros Occidental, Philippines that people look forward to every April. However, the festival was cancelled for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the festival is back with the theme “The Promise Renewed,” and it promises to be bigger and more meaningful than ever before.
The Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023 was launched on March 14, 2023, with a grand event at the Capitol Lagoon, headed by Governor Bong Lacson, Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, and local government leaders from different cities and municipalities in Negros Occidental. At the launch, a new logo, a theme song, and a music video were unveiled. The event also introduced the 27 candidates of the Lin-ay Sang Negros 2023 in a sashing ceremony.
The festival’s new logo, which showcases The Sun, The Sugarcane, The Carabao, The Train (Iron Dinosaur), and The Capitol building, is in line with this year’s theme, “The Promise Renewed.”
This year’s Panaad sa Negros Festival is scheduled April 17 – 23, 2023 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
