Cabalen Restaurant has been a permanent fixture in the restaurant scene for the longest time. It has been the leading and favorite buffet restaurant of many families for many years. Special occasions and even simple family gatherings are always memorable when celebrated at Cabalen.

For 28 years, the Cabalen chain of restaurants has been the standard for excellent Filipino cuisine. Cabalen, which translates to a fellow Capampangan, started in San Fernando, Pampanga. It was in 1986 that the first Cabalen Eat-all-you-Can, Eat-all-you-Want Restaurant was opened in West Avenue, Quezon City.

The Cabalen branch in SM City Bacolod offers a Filipino buffet at Php 298.00 (+ VAT) per head and costs Php 166.80 per head for children 4 feet and below. There is no shortage of food to choose from.

The main dishes include pinakbet, dinuguan, asadong manok, Beringhe, sisig, lechon kawali, pritchon, and grilled fish and pork. There is also a salad bar. As for dessert, they have halo-halo, puto with cheese, tropical fruits, and kuchinta among others. There is a variety of food everyday since save for some regulars, they rotate their menu.

You also have the option for take-out if you prefer to eat elsewhere. A take-out dish is only Php 199.00. Promotion is available anytime, any day. The available dishes for take-out are kalderetang baka, kare-kare, adobong manok, lechon paksiw, dinuguan, pritchon, and pork sisig.
