Perfect Food And Ambiance At Ana’s Garden Grill & Seafood Restaurant
This establishment is already closed.
Filipinos are known for their love of food. We are appreciative of all the different types of cuisine around us. But of course nothing beats good old Filipino food. Not only is it sumptuous, the dishes themselves have a lot of history and character. I really would not exchange this cuisine for anything else. That is why I was ecstatic when our group, the Negrense Blogging Society, Inc., were invited to the grand opening and blessing of Ana’s Garden Grill & Seafood (fresh seafood and Filipino dishes are their specialty) last February 19.
Located at 6th Street, Bacolod City (where Mely’s Garden Restaurant used to be located), we had the privilege of touring the whole restaurant and trying some of the hearty dishes in their menu such as —
Ana’s 2-way Roasted Back Ribs (Half Rack – Php 350 / Whole Rack – Php 720)
Ibing’s Mango Salad, a traditional family recipe (Php 180)
Chili Shrimps
Calamares Fritos (Php 165)
Goat Kaldereta (Php 290)
Crispy Onion Rings
Fresh Kamias Shake | Fresh Tamarind Shake (Php 75)
Ana’s Garden Grill & Seafood is owned by Ana Maria Ledesma Blardony who said that her inspiration for putting up the business is her family. She also shared that her grandmother owned the first Ilonggo restaurant in New York frequented by Filipino politicians and movie stars. With OJ Salazar as consultant chef (who also happens to have several restaurants in Iloilo), for sure nothing could go wrong.

I like the resto’s ambiance so much. It has that relaxing and easy vibe that makes you want to just let your hair down and enjoy everything that is in front of you. The place has a spacious main dining area that is well-lit and ventilated, thanks to the glass walls surrounding the whole restaurant. The main dining area is also air-conditioned.
There is this seafood display and an outdoor grilling area located at the entrance where you can pick the freshest seafood (fishes, shrimps, squids, crabs, etc.) to be cooked the way you prefer like grilled, fried, or served in a soup.
Aside from the air-conditioned area, they also have an al fresco (open) area near the seafood display, as well as a separate function area where you can make reservations for functions and events. I also noticed the beautiful decorative lamps / chandelier in the main dining area that is made of local indigenous materials that make the place look stylish but homey at the same time.

Lechon Kawali (Php 195)
Yang Chow Rice (Php 180)
Fresh Strawberry Shake (Php 95) | Fresh Calamansi Juice (Php 50)
