Gerry’s Restaurant And Bar Is Now In Bacolod
Whenever I crave for Filipino cuisine, the restaurant that first comes to mind is Gerry’s Grill. In business since the mid-90’s, the restaurant always impresses with its vast selection of mouth-watering Filipino dishes, and comfortable and welcoming ambiance.
Now, one of Manila’s most famous restaurants has opened its door to the people of Bacolod. Re-branded as Gerry’s Restaurant and Bar, their newest branch opened last April 25 at the North Wing of SM City Bacolod. Gerry’s now has 87 branches, 6 of which are located abroad (1 in Hawaii, 2 in California, 2 in Singapore, and 1 in Qatar).

The restaurant’s classic, wooden interiors is conducive to relaxing, so gatherings between family and friends are made more special. It is also quite spacious (can accommodate more or less 150 diners) and has a function room that can seat 50 guests for exclusive gatherings.

With all those delicious dishes, you would not think that their prices are reasonable. But thankfully, they are. Furthermore, Gerry’s is conveniently located inside the mall, so people can easily get rid of their hunger pangs after all that strolling and shopping.
Their house specialties include Inihaw na Pusit, Sizzling Pork Sisig, and Crispy Pata. The Inihaw na Pusit is grilled to perfection, so tasty and tender. The Sizzling Pork Sisig is delicious as well, really great with cold beer. The Crispy Pata is to die for, what with its crispy skin and juicy meat that is so tender that it kinda melts in your mouth.
