Globe Opens First Visayas EasyHub One-Stop-Shop In Bacolod City
Globe has launched the first EasyHub omnichannel kiosk in the Visayas at Robinsons Place Bacolod City. The innovative facility enables customers, regardless of age or digital know-how, to fulfill various transactions in safe and convenient ways.
EasyHub is an interactive one-stop shop for all essential needs, especially useful for “digitally-hesitant” individuals and older clients who, more often than not, prefer the traditional way of doing things. It essentially combines the comfort and familiarity of brick-and-mortar stores with the ease and convenience of digital for a faster and secure experience.
“Globe values its customers. We want to empower them and enhance their lives. Through EasyHub, we can accommodate their needs for a sense of control or assurance when making digital transactions. We can also help them feel more at ease in their first step towards digitalization,” said Michael Coson, Globe Head of Retail Design and Portfolio Growth.
Using EasyHub, customers can easily connect, explore, and complete transactions with just a touch of a button. They can access information on requesting customer service support in Globe’s mobile platforms.
The Pay Zone and Care Zone in every kiosk also remove the hassle of advanced queuing and waiting.
The Pay Zone offers vending machines that accept cash to pay bills for Globe, Innove, and Bayantel accounts, add funds to the GCash wallet, buy load for prepaid accounts, and even purchase a special SIM card with data inclusion for ₱125. Users can also use MySukli, an e-wallet managed by the machine vendor and a certified Operator of Payment System by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Meanwhile, there are helpful screenshots at the Care Zone that will guide customers in using the different services. They will learn how to pay bills via the Globe One app or the vending machine, request assistance through the Globe One or Globe At Home app, and use the GCash app.
“We are excited to introduce EasyHub to our customers in Bacolod. We want them to experience a best-in-class, omnichannel retail that makes transactions not only easier but also seamless and highly engaging,” said Julie Querubin, Retail Area Head for Globe EasyHub Visayas.
Globe EasyHub booths can also be found in Ayala Malls Manila Bay and SM Manila. Additional outlets are set to open in various locations across the country to make them accessible to more people.
