JyNNSONS Phils., Inc. Celebrates Its Partnerships With First-Ever Grand Dealers’ Night

Established on October 11, 2011, JyNNSONS Phils., Inc. (JPI) began with family members who wanted to build a business that’s entirely unique. Their goal was to find innovative solutions and offer great service while being competitive in the global marketplace.

Mr. Agustin “Nene” T. Torres, the company’s owner, used his separation pay from his last job as an accountant to start the business at his house. His motivation was to give his wife Nenita or “Nitz” and his children a better place to live in and a comfortable life. Because of his hard work and continuous perseverance, Nene’s dream ultimately came true. JPI has grown immensely over the years and even with the pandemic, the company has already employed 72 employees.

On his 60th birthday, he decided to leave behind a legacy to his children, thus, JyNNsons Phils., Inc. was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission. For exclusive distribution in the country, complete agricultural chemical lines were registered at the Fertilizers and Pesticides Authority.

The Company’s Mission and Vision

JPI is headed by Sir Nene Torres who serves as EVP and General Manager. It’s run by the entire family, with his son Mr. Julius Torres, as President.

JPI’s mission includes:

JPI agricultural products are distributed and sold in the whole Negros and Panay Islands, as well as in Cebu, Leyte, Mindoro, Palawan, and several areas in Mindanao under selected dealers. The company is based in Bacolod City.

JyNNSONS Phils., Inc.’s First Grand Dealers’ Night

One of JPI’s core values is being customer-centric, considering their dealers as the “lifeblood of their business”. Last August 26, 2023, JyNNSONS Phils., Inc. (JPI) held its first-ever Dealers’ Night at the Grand Pavilion of Acacia Hotel Bacolod to pay tribute to their dealers in the Negros Island. They were warmly welcomed by the JPI staff and treated to a special buffet dinner with several lechons and free-flowing drinks.

Each dealer was recognized and received certificates of appreciation for their priceless contributions to JPI’s journey. As a way of thanking their dealers, prizes were overflowing. An exciting trivia game with attractive cash prizes kept everyone fully awake.

The most anticipated part of the event was the grand raffle which was sponsored by JPI’s partner companies. Using the traditional tambiolo method, dealers had the chance to win multiple minor prizes such as rice cookers, electric fans, induction stoves and many more. Major prizes included a laptop, refrigerator, TVs, and sound system. The grand prize winner got to take home a brand-new Yamaha Mio motorcycle.

The JPI staff also entertained the crowd with special dance performances headed by Nene’s son, company President Julius Torres. No one left empty handed as they were given tokens from the event.

JPI’s first Grand Dealers’ Night was a big success, it looked a lot like Christmas in August. It showed the company’s steadfast commitment to its customers and dealers and honored their shared success. For sure JPI will continue to prosper, and along with it, its partnerships. This very much mirrors the company’s tagline, “Together we grow”.
