Mango Festival At SM City Bacolod

The Philippines is known for its world-class mangoes. I can say with confidence that a lot of Filipinos and foreigners alike go gaga over this sweet, mouth-watering fruit. It is also a fact that mangoes from Guimaras Island are the sweetest in the world.

From April 11 to 17, 2016, mall goers can attend and be a part of the Mango Festival at the Main Atrium of SM City Bacolod North Wing. The goal of this exhibit is to advertise not only the mangoes but also the other mango-flavored and mango based products from Guimaras. The mangoes are being sold for Php 110 a kilo.

Among the mango products that you can buy are Mango Empanaditas, Mango Piaya, Mango Bars, Mango Biscocho, Mango Scotch, and Mango Barquillos.

You can likewise purchase Merczi Pasalubong Products, Sabor Ilonggo’s Bagoong, and Virgie’s Homemade Products. These are unique products that you can take home to your loved ones as snacks or something to give as pasalubong to your relatives abroad.
