Misyel’s Catering Services: 25 years of delivering quality foods and catering services in Bacolod and Negros Occidental
When it comes to catering services in Bacolod, Misyel’s is among those at the top of the list. Established in 1994 by Michelle Uy–Gerona and her mom, Rosita “Nene” Uy, this once small business has fulfilled its goal of serving quality foods and rendering good service.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this June, team Misyel’s is guaranteeing its clients that it will live up to its name and reputation for the next 25 years and more.
Early Days of the Business
Misyel’s started out as a small catering business serving pork barbecue, lengua with mushroom sauce, and mango and ube cakes. Michelle just graduated from De La Salle University when she and her mom decided to start the catering business which they named Misyel’s to help support the family financially. Team Misyel started with only one waiter, one driver, one cook, one office staff and with Michelle as the manager and her mom in charge of marketing.
When her father died in 1997, they started their small central kitchen and started accepting orders for up to a hundred guests.
The Success Story Goes On
As the business continued to flourish, Misyel’s catering services expanded to weddings, baptisms, blessings, packed foods, and burial catering. They can now cater to a maximum of 1,000 pax, buffet setting and do simultaneous caterings in one day. So far they have catered to an event where they served 15,000 packed lunches and 10,000 snack packs.
Misyel’s has had the opportunity to render services to many famous personalities like presidents of our country, celebrities, artists, and local national conventions. They have served events from the northernmost to the southernmost points of Negros Occidental.
Eventhough 25 years have passed, the secret to their success remains the same and that’s faith and hard work.

Aside from Bacolod, Misyel’s also caters in different areas in Negros Occidental such as Binalbagan, La Carlota City, and Kabankalan among others. Some of their clients’ favorites are Hawaiian Rolls in Misono Sauce, Crab Relleno in Crabshells, Sotanghon Guisado Special, Lengua with Mushroom Sauce, Pork Barbeque, Waldorf Salad, Fish in Lemon Butter Sauce, Buko Pandan, and more.

Misyel’s Charity Dinner Buffet
To celebrate its silver anniversary, Misyel’s Catering Services will have a Charity Dinner Buffet on June 25, 2019 (Tuesday) at SMX Convention Center Bacolod. Tickets will be at Php 250 per head where you can enjoy an eat–all-you–can buffet plus live entertainment by Soul and Rhythm.
