CREAMY TUNA FETTUCCINE

INGREDIENTS:
  • 500g Al Dente Pasta Eccellente Fettuccine
  • 1 can Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can Jolly Mushrooms (Pieces and Stems Champignons), drained
  • 1 can Jolly Mushrooms (Whole Champignons), drained
  • 1 can Jolly Whole Corn Kernels, drained
  • 1 tbsp. Jolly Canola Oil
  • 4 cans of 155g tuna flakes in oil, drained
  • 250ml all-purpose cream
  • 220g cheese whiz
  • 50g butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 small bulb onions, chopped
  • 6 small green bell peppers, cubed
  • Salt and Pepper
PROCEDURE:

1. Cook Al Dente Pasta Eccellente Fettuccine noodles according to package direction. Drain and set aside. Make sure pasta is al dente, and not soggy.

2. Melt the butter in a medium-sized pan. Sauté the garlic and onions for about 1 minute, then add the tuna flakes.

3. Stir in tuna oil and cook for 3 minutes.

4. Add the Jolly Mushrooms (Pieces and Stems Champignons), Jolly Mushrooms (Whole Champignons) and Jolly Whole Corn Kernels.

5. Stir in the Jolly Cream of Mushroom Soup, cheese whiz and all-purpose cream. Simmer until the sauce boils. Season with salt and pepper.

6. Continue stirring until the sauce becomes thick. Turn off heat.

7. Place the pasta on plate and pour the sauce on top of it. Garnish with green bell peppers and corn kernels.

8. Serve and enjoy your Creamy Tuna Fettuccine with garlic bread on the side.

    Corn on pasta. With tuna. Hmmm. Sounds interesting. Will have to try this as I haven’t considered combining these ingredients. 😀
