Yummy Cupcakes And Sandwiches At Bacolod Cupcake Cafe, Inc.
The emergence of stores selling cupcakes has proven that these sweet delights has reached another level in terms of popularity. I recently came across Bacolod Cupcake Café, Inc. (BCC Inc.) in Facebook and a friend raved about it. I’ve been wanting to visit ever since and was so happy when I found out that it’s located near St. John Institute, my daughter’s school.
I got more excited because of the cafe’s Buy 1 Free 1 (on Blended Drinks) Promo. I also wanted to try their unique rainbow cake which has the bright colors of the rainbow on each layer. Each colored layer has a different taste. This cake is really both visually appetizing and delicious.

Bacolod Cupcake Café, Inc. first opened its doors to Bacolod diners on March 1, 2013 at MBG Building along Hilado Street. From its name, it’s pretty obvious that BCC primarily sells designer cupcakes. But the thing is, that’s not all they have.

Get to choose from a wide variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee and blended drinks), cakes, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. They also accept orders for customized event cakes. My personal favorite is their Onion and Beef Sandwich served with caramelized onions.

BCC Inc. is owned by Ricco Makilan, a former barista abroad. He is the one responsible for formulating all the drinks while bakers Augusto Debuyan and Laarnie Lamis are responsible for all the mouth-watering cakes and cupcakes. The other owner is Boyet Benavides who gets to use his extensive experience in the food services industry operations business.
The four varieties of chicken wraps at Bacolod Cupcake Cafe, Inc.
I was delighted when I was invited to try out their newest products which were the Chicken Wraps. I’m a veggie type of person so the first time I saw these being advertised on BCC’s Facebook Fan Page, I felt giddy to try the wraps. It comes in four variants (wrapped in flat wheat bread) — Buffalo Wings, Rainbow Salad, California Wrap, and Southwestern Chicken.
The Buffalo Wings consisted of chicken, lettuce, tomato, onions, and celery with ranch dressing and hot sauce. The ingredients of the Rainbow Salad are boiled chicken, carrots, singkamas, parsley, cream cheese, and spinach with garlic mayo sauce. You’ll find boiled chicken, lettuce, bacon, spinach, tomato, and avocado with ranch dressing in the California Wrap variant. The last variant, the Southwestern Chicken, has boiled chicken, spinach, black beans, tomato, red onion, and avocado with garlic mayo sauce.
Among the four, I like the California Wrap and Rainbow Salad the most. Since I’m not really fond of spicy foods, I didn’t find the Buffalo Wings too engaging. The Southwestern Chicken Wrap has black beans and avocado which I find interesting. But all of them are really good and are a must-try. I also like the fact that they are so affordable. With just Php 100 you’ll get the wrap meal consisting of the big sandwich and a big glass of iced tea. Aside from the sandwiches, I also tried the new Mango Sylvanas as well as Mocha Sylvanas which only cost Php 40 per slice. So yummy!
